meet the maker

Hi! I’m Madeline - the hands, heart, and vision behind Thread Garden. Every piece you see here is designed, cut, sewn, and packaged by me in my Colorado home studio. From start to finish, each step is a quiet ritual of care, meant to bring you comfort that lasts.

My path began with a degree in fashion design in 2016 and, not long after, an Etsy shop full of festival-inspired pieces, born from my love of live music and color. In 2018 I discovered the joy of working with organic fabrics and low-impact dyes, and it changed everything. Sustainability, comfort, and care for both body and Earth became the foundation of my work.

By 2019, a luscious bamboo fabric led me to design my first pair of underwear. What started as an experiment quickly grew into my true passion: creating sustainable intimates and loungewear that feel as good as they look.

Today, Thread Garden is a collection of thoughtfully crafted staples rooted in comfort—ready to ship, made slowly and intentionally, season after season. With every stitch I’m committed to creating pieces that love your body back with softness, sustainability, and quiet luxury.

sustainable by nature

From fabric to final stitch, sustainability is at the heart of everything I create. I carefully source OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified fabrics and favor high quality, earth-minded materials like Organic Cotton, MicroModal, TENCEL, Bamboo, and Hemp—soft on your skin, built to last, and gentle on the planet.

Every hand-dyed piece uses low-impact, fiber-reactive dyes that conserve water and require no heat. Each batch is washed in small, mindful rinsing baths with eco-friendly detergent.

I repurpose usable scraps, wear biodegradable gloves, and collaborate with other artists to keep waste close to zero. My studio produces, on average, just one trash bag of waste every few months.

In a world overflowing with excess, I choose care, consciousness, and beauty that lasts—because your comfort, and the Earth, deserve nothing less.
